The Hedge Sparrow, also known as the DUNNOCK (7 letters) or Accentor (8 letters), is a small passerine bird native to Europe, Asia and North Africa. It is a member of the Prunellidae family and is closely related to the European Robin. The Hedge Sparrow is a small, brownish-grey bird with a white throat and breast. It has a short, pointed bill and a long tail. Its diet consists mainly of insects, seeds and berries.
