The Yalta Summit was a meeting of the Allied leaders during World War II, held in the Soviet city of Yalta in the Crimea. The summit was attended by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. The purpose of the summit was to discuss the post-war reorganization of Europe and Asia, as well as the fate of Germany. The Yalta Conference resulted in the establishment of the United Nations, and the agreement to divide Germany into four occupation zones.
