Wright Field is an AVIATION facility located in Dayton, Ohio. It was established in 1948 and is now known as Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The facility was named after the Wright brothers, who were pioneers in the field of AVIATION. It is home to the National Museum of the United States Air Force and is a major research and development center for the U.S. Air Force. Wright Field is also the site of the first powered flight in 1903.
