The Aztecs were an ancient Mesoamerican civilization that worshipped many gods, including the rain god Tlaloc. A worshiper of the rain god Tlaloc was known as an AZTEC. They believed that Tlaloc was responsible for bringing rain to the land, and they would offer sacrifices and prayers to him in order to ensure a plentiful harvest. The Aztecs also believed that Tlaloc had the power to bring both good and bad luck, so they sought to appease him with offerings and prayers.
