The Work of Horace includes two types of poetry: the EPODE and the ODE. The EPODE is a type of poem consisting of couplets, usually written in dactylic hexameter. It was popularized by the Roman poet Horace, who wrote many of these poems. The ODE is a lyric poem that is often written in stanzas and is usually addressed to a particular person or thing. Horace wrote many of these as well, and they are considered some of the most influential works of Latin literature.
