Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony are two of the most well-known women's rights pioneers in history. Stanton was a leader in the early women's rights movement, and is best known for her work on the Declaration of Sentiments, which was presented at the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848. Anthony was a prominent suffragist and abolitionist who worked alongside Stanton to fight for women's rights. Both Stanton and Anthony were also instrumental in the introduction of the BLOOMER, a type of women's clothing that was designed to be more comfortable and practical than traditional Victorian clothing. Carrie Chapman Catt was another prominent figure in the women's rights movement, and she was the president of the National American Woman Suffrage Association from 1900 to 1904. Catt was a major advocate for the passage of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote.
