The term Women's Patriotic GP refers to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), an organization founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support education. The DAR is open to any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. The organization has over 185, 000 members in 3, 000 chapters across the United States and internationally.
