A MISANTHROPE is someone who dislikes or distrusts all people, while a misogynist is someone who hates women. A woman hater is someone who fits both of these descriptions, as they are both characterized by a deep-seated hatred of the opposite sex. This type of person is often seen as being extremely negative and pessimistic, and may even go so far as to express their hatred through violence or verbal abuse.
