The West Indian Nation is a collective term for the Caribbean nations located in the western hemisphere. Two of these nations are Dominica and Haiti. Dominica is an island nation located between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, with a population of approximately 73, 000 people. Haiti is a country located on the western part of the island of Hispaniola, with a population of over 11 million people. Both Dominica and Haiti are members of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
