Washington City or County Yakima is a city located in the state of Washington. It is the county seat of Yakima County and the 11th largest city in the state. Yakima is located in south-central Washington, about 60 miles southeast of Mount Rainier National Park. The city is known for its agricultural production, including apples, hops, and wine grapes. Yakima is also home to several universities and colleges, as well as numerous parks and recreational areas.
