Paul Klee was a Swiss-born artist who was born in 1879 and died in 1940. He was a painter, printmaker, and draughtsman whose work was influenced by movements such as Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. He was also a teacher at the Bauhaus school of art and architecture. His works are characterized by a great variety of color and form.
