Tommy ROE is an American singer and songwriter who is best known for his hit songs 'Sweet Pea' and 'DIZZY'. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1942 and began his career in the early 1960s. He had a string of hits throughout the decade, including 'Sheila', 'Hooray for Hazel', and 'Jam Up and Jelly Tight'. His most successful single, 'Sweet Pea', reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966. He continues to perform and record music today.
