Sweeney Todd is a fictional character from the Victorian era who is a barber and serial killer. He is the protagonist of the 1979 musical thriller, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and its 2007 film adaptation. He is also known as Benjamin Barker, his real name before he was falsely accused and exiled. He returns to London after 15 years to seek revenge on those who wronged him. He teams up with Mrs. Lovett, a baker, to create a business in which he murders customers and bakes their remains into pies.
