Susan Egan is an American actress and singer who is best known for originating the role of Belle in the Broadway production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She also starred in the Los Angeles production of the show, as well as the 10th Anniversary Concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Egan has also appeared in other Broadway productions such as Cabaret, Triumph of Love, and State Fair. She has also released several solo albums and has done voice-over work for animated films.
