The abdominal muscles, or ABS, and the adductor hallucis muscles, or AHS, are both part of the group of muscles known as the stomach muscles. The ABS are located in the abdomen and are responsible for flexing the trunk of the body. The AHS are located in the foot and are responsible for flexing the big toe. Together, these two muscles work together to help stabilize the torso and provide support for the body.
