Jon Stewart is an American comedian, writer, producer, director, actor, media critic, and former television host. He is best known for hosting The Daily Show, a satirical news program on Comedy Central, from 1999 to 2015. Stewart was the longest-serving host of the show, having hosted it for over sixteen years. He won twenty-two Primetime Emmy Awards during his tenure as host of The Daily Show.
