The state capital of Washington is Olympia, which has seven letters. Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Thurston County. It was incorporated on January 28, 1859. The city lies along the southern end of Puget Sound on Budd Inlet. Olympia is the home of the Olympic Mountains, which are part of the Cascade Range. The city is also home to the Evergreen State College and the South Puget Sound Community College.
