Marv Albert is a sports broadcaster who has been in the business for over 50 years. He is best known for his work as a play-by-play announcer for the NBA on NBC from 1977 to 1997, and for his current role as the lead announcer for TNT's NBA coverage. He is also the lead announcer for NFL on CBS and Westwood One's NFL coverage. Albert has won numerous awards for his work, including the Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Personality in 1998.
