Sports agent Arn Tellem is a prominent figure in the sports industry. He has been a sports agent since 1983 and has represented some of the biggest names in professional sports, including Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and Derek Jeter. He is currently the Vice Chairman of Palace Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Detroit Pistons. Tellem has also served as the President of the National Basketball Players Association and was instrumental in negotiating the NBA's collective bargaining agreement in 1999. He is widely respected for his work in the sports industry and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Sports Business Journal's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
