Anita Hill is an American attorney and academic who is best known for her testimony during the 1991 confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Hill's testimony brought national attention to the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace. She is also an author, most notably of the book Speaking Truth to Power: The Story of ANITA Hill. Hill's book details her experiences during the hearings and her life before and after them.
