The Spanish Surrealist movement was a major artistic movement of the 20th century, and was led by four major figures: Joan Miro, Salvador Dali, Jose Sert, and Juan Miro. Joan Miro was a Catalan painter, sculptor, and ceramicist whose works were heavily influenced by Surrealism. Salvador Dali was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and filmmaker who is best known for his Surrealist works. Jose Sert was a Catalan architect who designed many buildings in Barcelona, including the Palau de la Musica Catalana. Juan Miro was a Spanish sculptor and painter who was also heavily influenced by Surrealism. Together, these four figures helped to shape the Spanish Surrealist movement.
