Spain's Gulf of Cadiz is a body of water located on the southwestern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. It is bordered by the provinces of Cádiz, Huelva, and Málaga in Spain, as well as the Portuguese Algarve region. The Gulf of Cadiz is also known as the Gulf of Rosas, named after the nearby city of Roses in Catalonia, Spain. The Gulf of Cadiz is an important fishing area and is home to a variety of marine life.
