The ANDES is the longest continental mountain range in the world, stretching along the western coast of South America. It spans seven countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. The range is home to some of the highest peaks in the Americas, with many of them reaching over 6, 000 meters in elevation. The ANDES also contain a variety of ecosystems, from tropical rainforests to high-altitude deserts.
