South American prairie is a type of grassland ecosystem found in the southern part of the continent. The three main types of South American prairie are the PAMPAS, Llanos, and PAMPA. The PAMPAS is a vast grassland plain located in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. The Llanos is a large grassland plain located in Colombia and Venezuela. Lastly, the PAMPA is a vast grassland plain located in Argentina. All three of these prairies are characterized by their flat terrain and abundance of grasses.
