Jule Styne was a prolific songwriter who wrote some of the most iconic songs of the 20th century. He wrote for Broadway musicals, films, and popular singers. He was born in London in 1905 and moved to the United States in 1922. He wrote over 800 songs, including 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' and 'Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!'. He won three Tony Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972.
