Danny BOYLE is the director of the 2008 Academy Award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. He is a British filmmaker and producer who has been involved in the film industry since the late 1970s. BOYLE has directed a variety of films, including Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, and 127 Hours. He won an Academy Award for Best Director for Slumdog Millionaire, which also won Best Picture. BOYLE has also won two BAFTA Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a Critics' Choice Movie Award.
