Tara Lipinski is a former competitive figure skater and the 1998 Olympic gold medalist. She is considered one of the most successful figure skaters in history, having won numerous titles including the 1997 World Figure Skating Championships and the 1998 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships. She is also the youngest person to ever win an individual Olympic gold medal in figure skating, at the age of 15. Lipinski retired from competitive skating in 2002 and has since become a television commentator for figure skating events.
