Brian Boitano is an American figure skater who won the gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. He is also a five-time U.S. national champion and a two-time World champion. Boitano is known for his technical precision and artistry on the ice. He is also the first American to land a triple axel jump in competition. Boitano has since become a television personality and has appeared in several films and television shows.
