Ezer Weizman was an Israeli politician and the seventh President of Israel from 1993 to 2000. He was also a leader in the Six-Day War, a conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors in 1967. Weizman was a major general in the Israeli Air Force and served as the Chief of the General Staff from 1986 to 1991. He was known for his strong leadership during the war and his commitment to peace negotiations afterwards.
