The Six-Day War Defender was Abba Eban, an Israeli diplomat and politician. He was a major figure in the Israeli government from its founding in 1948 until his retirement in 1974. He served as Israel's Foreign Minister from 1966 to 1974 and was a member of the Knesset from 1950 to 1974.
