Carole King is an American singer-songwriter and musician who has been active in the music industry since the 1960s. She is best known for her 1971 album Tapestry, which is one of the best-selling albums of all time. King has written or co-written over 400 songs, many of which have become hits for other artists. She has won four Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
