The DELT muscle, also known as the deltoid muscle, is a four-letter term for the shoulder muscle. It is a triangular muscle located at the top of the arm and is responsible for the movement of the shoulder joint. It is composed of three parts: anterior, medial, and posterior. The anterior portion is responsible for abduction, the medial portion for flexion, and the posterior portion for extension.
