Ari Shapiro is an American journalist and radio host. He is the co-host of NPR's All Things Considered, a daily news program. Shapiro has been with NPR since 2015 and has reported from around the world, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and the United Kingdom. He has also served as a White House correspondent and was the first openly gay man to do so. Shapiro has won numerous awards for his work, including the Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in journalism.
