The second of the ten biblical plagues was frogs. This plague is described in the book of Exodus, where God commanded Moses to tell Pharaoh that if he did not let the Israelites go, then God would send a plague of frogs upon Egypt. The frogs were so numerous that they filled the houses and even the ovens and kneading troughs. Pharaoh eventually relented and allowed the Israelites to leave Egypt.
