Neil DeGrasse Tyson is an American astrophysicist, author, and science communicator. He is one of the most well-known scientists in the world and is often referred to as the 'face of science'. He is best known for his work on the television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which he hosted and co-wrote. He has also written several books, including Death by Black Hole and Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. He is currently the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
