Roman Meeting Places, or Fora, were public spaces in Ancient Rome used for political, commercial, and religious activities. They were typically rectangular in shape and located in the center of the city. The most famous of these was the Forum Romanum, which served as the main gathering place for citizens and was the site of many important events. Other fora included the Forum Boarium, which was a marketplace, and the Forum Holitorium, which was a vegetable market.
