REO Speedwagon is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Champaign, Illinois. The band's name was derived from the REO Speed Wagon, a flatbed truck manufactured by the REO Motor Company. The band achieved mainstream success with their 1981 album Hi Infidelity, which contained four US Top 40 hits and sold over 10 million copies. They have continued to tour and record music, releasing their most recent album, Not So Silent Night...Christmas with REO Speedwagon, in 2019.
