RITES GROUP is an acronym for the Recognition, Inclusion, and Transformation of Educational Spaces Group. It is a student-led organization at the University of Michigan that works to create a more inclusive campus environment. The group was founded in 2018 and focuses on creating a safe and supportive space for students of all backgrounds. The term FRAT is an acronym for the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office, which is part of the Division of Student Life at the University of Michigan. The office works to support and advise fraternities and sororities on campus.
