The term 'RIC OF THE CARS' is a reference to Ric Ocasek, the lead singer and songwriter of the rock band The Cars. Ocasek was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1949 and was the primary creative force behind the band's success. He wrote most of the band's songs and sang lead vocals on many of their hits, including 'Just What I Needed, ' 'My Best Friend's Girl, ' and 'DRIVE.' Ocasek was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
