The term RETINA PARTS can be broken down into two parts: rods and cones. Rods are light-sensitive cells located in the retina of the eye that are responsible for vision in dim light. Cones are also light-sensitive cells located in the retina of the eye, but they are responsible for color vision and vision in bright light. Together, rods and cones allow us to see a wide range of colors and light levels.
