Rene Russo is an American actress, producer, and former model who is best known for her role as Frigga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor (2011) and its sequel Thor: The Dark World (2013). Russo portrayed the Asgardian queen and mother of Thor, the titular character. She also appeared in the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. Russo has had a successful career in Hollywood, appearing in films such as Lethal Weapon 3 (1992), In the Line of Fire (1993), Get Shorty (1995), and The Thomas Crown Affair (1999).
