Paolo Uccello, also known as Paolo di Dono, was an Italian Renaissance painter who lived from 1397 to 1475. He is best known for his pioneering work in perspective and his use of geometric shapes in his paintings. He was a master of the Florentine school of painting and was one of the first artists to experiment with linear perspective. His most famous works include The Battle of San Romano and The Deluge.
