Billy IDOL is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He first achieved fame in the 1970s as a member of the punk rock band Generation X. In 1982, he released his debut solo album, which contained the hit single 'White Wedding'. He has since released several albums and singles, including the US number one single 'Cradle of Love'. He is also known for his rebellious style and his signature 'Rebel Yell' scream. Billy IDOL is often referred to as a 'Rebel Yell Singer'.
