Ranges of Understanding is a term used to describe the different levels of understanding that people have when it comes to a particular subject. Kens is an acronym for Knowledge, Experience, Needs and Skills, which are the four components of Ranges of Understanding. These components are used to measure how well someone understands a particular subject, and can be used to identify areas where further learning or development may be needed.
