Practice is an important part of mastering any skill or activity. It involves planning, forming a PLAN, plotting out a course of ACTION, learning the LORE associated with the activity, taking ACTION, following through on the PLAN, and gaining EXPERIENCE. It also involves having an understanding of the principles and theories associated with the activity, applying them, using them, honing one's skills, developing a certain way of doing things, drilling to become proficient, forming habits, creating SPACE for practice, training oneself, becoming familiar with the USAGE of the activity, working on it, engaging in it, and rehearsing and rehearsing until it becomes second nature.
