The term 'Platters' is a collective term for four different items: trays, DISCS, disks, and trayd. Trays are flat, usually rectangular objects used to carry or serve food. DISCS are circular objects, often made of plastic or metal, that can be used to store data or music. Disks are similar to DISCS, but they are usually thicker and have a hole in the middle.
