Pirate drink is a term used to describe alcoholic beverages that were popular among pirates. The two most common pirate drinks are RUM and GROG. RUM is an alcoholic beverage made from sugarcane byproducts, such as molasses, or directly from sugarcane juice. GROG is a mixture of RUM and water, sometimes with the addition of lime juice or other flavorings. Both RUM and GROG were staples of pirate life, and were often consumed in large quantities.
