Min Jin Lee is a Korean-American author best known for her novel Pachinko, which was published in 2017. She is the author of two other books, Free Food for Millionaires and The Sun and Her Flowers. Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven. She graduated from Yale University and has worked as a lawyer and journalist. Pachinko is a historical fiction novel that follows four generations of a Korean family living in Japan. It was a New York Times Bestseller and was named one of the 10 Best Books of 2017 by The New York Times Book Review.
