Overstudious ones, or NERDS, are individuals who are extremely dedicated to their studies and often have a deep interest in a particular subject. They are usually highly intelligent and often socially awkward. They tend to be introverted and prefer to spend time alone or with a small group of like-minded people. They may also be seen as outcasts by their peers due to their intense focus on academics.
