The term OTT of Baseball refers to Mel Ott, a Hall of Fame baseball player who played for the New York Giants from 1926 to 1947. He was a six-time All-Star and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. Ott was known for his powerful batting style and was the first National League player to hit 500 home runs. He also held the record for most home runs in the National League until it was broken by Willie Mays in 1966.
